14th Annual 8K Race/2M Challenge / 1K Fun Run

An annual Kensington tradition since 1993, this race has a unique small-town "feel." It winds through beautiful Rock Creek Park and historic Old Town Kensington and has something for everyone — an 8K challenge over long hills and flats with awards to top runners, a non-competitive 2 mile and 1K fun run (or walk) for families and novice runners with prizes for everyone. This year, the proceeds will support three public schools: Kensington Parkwood Elementary, North Bethesda Middle School and Walter Johnson High School.
